3 weeks

Today Victoria is 3 weeks old :) Time is already flying by. This week we went to our 2nd doctor visit and everything went well. She is now 6 pounds 9 ounces and I can let her sleep for 4 hours at night...amazing how much that extra 2 hours makes! We also went to the hearing specialist and she passed both test :) Phew! She is a healthy, happy, and sweet little girl. We are so blessed. I have the best job ever!

One of my favorite faces...the bird.

Matt making Tori noises and faces.

Grandpa Jan's magic shoulder that puts Tori to sleep in seconds.

Tummy Time :) Tori is amazing with lifting and turning her head from side to side. She likes being on her tummy.

My two babies :)

My first Mother's Day as a mother. Breakfast in bed, flowers, and beautiful diamond earrings...I am definitely a fan of this new holiday :)

First Two Weeks Home

The first two weeks have gone by so fast. Victoria is such a sweet baby (almost all of the time) and I find myself spending hours just staring at her adorable smiles and funny faces. Even though she is so small, she is really strong and has excellent head control so she does not seem so fragile. We are so blessed! Here are some pictures from the first two weeks.

We are finally home from the hospital!

Soco with Victoria's hat from the hospital. He has been such a great big brother :) We are amazed at how he instinctively knows to be gentle with her. He goes wherever she goes and does not like to let her out of his sight.

Happy Daddy with baby and beer :)

This is a newborn outfit :) Grandmom and Grandpa hated seeing her clothes hang on her so much they showed up with preemie outfits the next day.

Auntie Leah with Tori in one of her preemie outfits.

The crib finally has a baby in it :)

Tori's first bath! She was not a fan :( I can't wait for her umbilical cord to come off so we can give her a real bath.

The azaleas were in full bloom when we came back from the hospital :)

Amanda and Jason came to meet Tori.

Sam is very intrigued by the baby.

Grandma with both babies!

This is the typical Tori pose. Both hands up by her head (even in ultra sound). She can not stand to have her hands swaddled.

In just a week, she has outgrown her preemie outfits and is starting to fill out newborn sized clothes.

The Victoria's....do you see a resemblance?

Sam guarding the cradle.

Her first walk. We had a few walks before I realized that I could flip the handlebar and have a baby buggy. This stroller does everything...thanks Kyle :)

Victoria Brooke Miller--April 22, 2010

I cannot believe that it has taken me so long to update this site. I thought I would definitely be able to update it at the hospital :) It is amazing how fast the days go by now and how little I accomplish besides feeding and staring at my little girl :) I couldn't be happier though!

A Short Update:
Matt and I went to dinner with his parents and then to the hospital April 21st for a scheduled induction. Since Victoria was weighing small in the ultra sound measurements, the doctors thought it would be best to take her out a week early (39 weeks) just to be on the safe side. Everything went smoothly and April 22nd at 2:29 Victoria Brooke arrived :) She was 5 pounds 10 ounces and 18 inches. I think we were all suprised by how pretty she was (based on Matt and my newborn pictures, we did not have high expectations).

Dinner before heading to the hospital.

The proud new parents:)

Big feet and hands for such a tiny girl :) Matt is thinking swimmer.
